committed to Rich Rodriquez back in April. He had planned to run Rodriguez’s
unique offense at Michigan
but he later de-committed and began to look around. With offers from Ohio State, Virginia
Tech, Penn State,
and Boston College, Newsome selected the Nittany
Lions as his future school just this month.

School in Portsmouth Virginia spent his senior year at Hardgrave Military
Academy before returning
to his hometown to make his college selection recently. At his prior high
school, Newsome told friends and family during a press conference that he had
