At 6'3" 270lbs and with 4.9 speed, Jr Ferguson is rated the 3rd best defensive end in the country for the 2010 recruiting class. He has yet to name a set number of favorites schools and has offers from all over the country including Georgia, Penn State, Oklahoma, Miami, Notre Dame, USC, Florida State and California. High School Career Ferguson played a little running back and tight end in high school for Frederick Maryland St. John's Catholic. On the offensive side of the ball the past two seasons he ran for 192 and 10 touchdowns. An additional 238 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns were also a part of his sophomore and juniors seasons. But he excelled on the defensive side of the ball with 203 tackles and 32 sacks over the past couple of years. He projects as a strong-side defensive end at the next level.
