Tony Grimes Favors Three Programs for College

Tony Grimes is an outstanding cornerback prospect from Hollywood Hills Florida with over 13 scholarships offers. Rated as the 37th best cornerback in the country for the 2010 class, colleges are looking at his play making ability and speed. He has recently narrowed his list down to 3 programs.

Play Making Ability

What sets Tony Grimes apart from others in the Top 100 Florida prospects list is his leadership and work ethic according to Grimes. “My leadership, my drive to win, work ethic and my play making ability.” he explained to us recently.

Hollywood Hills

He is off to a great start this season for Hollywood Hills playing defensive backfield and kick returner. ”So far 3 interceptions, 6 pass deflected, 23 tackles, and over 250 in return yards.” are the statistics he reported to us when we contacted his this week.

Visits and Top 3 Colleges

He only has one visit scheduled at this time. “I have one visit set up so far to Michigan when they play OSU.” But he could be open to a visit to Columbus Ohio to see what the Buckeyes have to offer. “It’s possible.” he conveyed.

Currently his favorite programs are Michigan, Mississippi, and Wisconsin. He knows what he is looking for in a college. “The place that fits best for me, somewhere where I can play early and the school who can make me an NFL star.” Other programs that have offered include Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, and West Virginia.
