Erick Smith College Program Options For 2014

Along with Marshon Lattimore, there's another player which the Ohio State football team is interested in from Ted Ginn Senior's Tarblooders squad. You could be forgiven for thinking that Glenville must be contesting national and state titles every year, with the array of college talent they have produced in the past. However, sadly for Ted Ginn Senior, this is not the reality. Nonetheless, Erick Smith is among the best athletes of the class of 2014.

At 6 ft. 1 in and 185 pounds, Smith possesses virtually the same physique of Travis Howard, the Buckeye's former defensive back. However, Smith might be a bit faster, displaying the same kind of quickness as other previous Tarblooders stars. Smith's schools of interest include: Cincinnati, Alabama, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee and Penn State. Out of these, scholarship offers have come from: Cincinnati, Alabama, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, North Carolina State, Tennessee and Penn State.

Erick Smith might relish joining the Buckeyes to win a national championship with Urban Meyer. But, although the Cleveland-Glenville machine will keep on running, one possible obstacle is that the Tarblooders usually wait a while before deciding. Marcelys Jones was the exception to this rule. Lack of space is the only thing which might prevent Smith from joining the Buckeyes. Unless he is happy to attend prep school or grey shirt, Smith might not feature in 2014 if he puts off for too long.
