Ohio State Football And Ravian Pierce

Although the incoming 2013 freshman class for Ohio State Football is considered one of the best in the entire NCAA, the recruiting never stops and the school's program is now looking forward to 2014.  One of the highest-ranking high school prospects in the entire country, tight end Ravian Pierce, is considered to be a major target of the Ohio State Football program.  Hailing from the Sunshine State of Florida, Ravian Pierce may well be the best tight end available in the entire state.  Standing six-foot four and weighing two hundred and fifteen pounds, he already has the size needed to play NCAA football even if he is a full year away from making a college roster.

Ranked in the ninth overall position player, Ravian Pierce carries a four-star rating overall from recruiting services, who think he will have little difficulty adjusting to college ball.  Known for strong hands, good concentration, and elite running skills, Ravian Pierce has dominated the Plantation, Florida football scene and is considered a lock to commit to a tier-1 BCS school in the spring.  His statistics are lower than some of his contemporaries on account of the fact that Plantation High School uses a run-heavy offense, giving him only a few options to get the ball in his hands and create plays.  In addition to his speed and skills as a tight end, Ravian Pierce may be considered for conversion to outside linebacker or defensive end due to his good size and quick foot movement once he reaches the college ranks.
