A Preview Of The High School All-American Games

The High School All-American Games will be starting soon. In Orlando, the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl begins on the 30th December, and runs through to the 5th January. The high school seniors All-American Bowl, which is broadcast by ESPNU, will be held at the Citrus Bowl Stadium on the 3rd January. From the Christian Brothers Academy, JR Zazzara is among six quarterbacks booked to play in the eighth annual match, which has featured players such as Dez Bryant and Cam Newton.

Players have started to arrive in Florida for the Under Armour All-American game, which will be held on the 2nd January in Saint Petersburg. A quartet of Florida commitments will participate in this match, namely JC Jackson, Dalvin Cook, Quincy Wilson and Ermon Lane. All four will work hard to retain Cook in Florida's lineup.

In San Antonio, on the 4th January, the US Army All-American Bowl game will feature a healthy showing for the Gators. Four Florida commits will participate in the practice week before the match. These include Will Grier, Khairi Clark, David Sharpe and Chris Lammons. All four will do their best to get the Gators some new recruits.

Finally, the teams are ready and the MCRC (Marine Corps Recruiting Command) is preparing for the start of the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl for 2014. This nationally broadcast event features the nation's elite high school football players, who have demonstrated integrity and leadership outside of sport. This will be held in Carson, CA on the 5th January at the StubHub Center.
