Offers and a Florida Trip

With offers from Louisville, Miami (FL), Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, and USC to name a few, the dual threat quarterback prospect is looking to take some extra time to select his final college selection. Over the final weekend of February, Green made a trip to the campus of the Florida Gators for one of their Junior Days while many prospects stayed for a basketball match of Florida vs Tennessee. Green's teammate Chaz Green also made the trip to Gainesville. Chaz is a top rated offensive lineman being pursued by some of the same powerhouse colleges. He is a four star prospect and a member of the Rivals 250.

Sophomore State Title

Green led his team to the State Title as a sophomore and that is when all the college interest began. As a junior this past year, he was able to pass for over 1,200 yards and run for over 650 yards with a combined 20 touchdowns. He has as many offers as he had touchdowns and is looking for a program where he feels comfortable.

Spread Offenses Only

Also high on Green's list of needs in a college is the program's offensive playing style. He is looking for a spread offense where the playmakers get the ball in space. Of course Florida fits this mold as some of the other programs recruiting him do not .Teams like Ohio State play a more traditional NFL style offense that prepares players for the next level. The Florida schools, Michigan and Georgia are programs he has sited as meeting this important criteria in his recruitment.
