Brandon Linder Visiting Top 4 in July

Brandon Linder is a tough offensive lineman for the 2010 class that has a number of great offers and has narrowed his list down to a top 4 at this time. In the current month, he will visit Miami, Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State before making a college selection. “Late July I will be hitting Miami, Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State.” He reported to us.

Top Notch Programs

With scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Sanford narrowing the list down to a final 4 must have been difficult for the Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas offensive center. Yet he was able to narrow the list to Miami, Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State. One of the criteria according to Linder was each program’s history, “Always are top notch programs every year.” he told us this weekend.

Mean and Tough

His best attributes on the field include his technique and nastiness in the trenches. “Mean, tough, pass blocking, and technique [are my best attributes].” he explained about his ability to dominate defensive lines against some of the best in Southern Florida.

Best High School Memory

His high school has had two consecutive state titles and Linder feels those were the best moments of his careers so far. St. Thomas Aquinas also has a reputation for developing good college prospects with NFL great Chris Carter as a coach and Carter’s son Duron being one of the best receivers in the class of 2009. Linder is not an ‘under the radar’ type of recruit with his name being on many of the top recruiting lists for this year.

College Selection

Other things Linder is looking for in a college when he visits this month include academics and the current team in place. “A great education, diploma power, great players, and great coaches [are what I am looking for].” He explained about his criteria.
